Marwa Chaabane

I am a second year master student in computer science : Industry 4.0, at Université de Pau et de Pays de l’Adour-France. I have a research master and a licence degree in computer science and multimedia (University of Sfax-Tunisia). My actual training focuses on the current trends on digital technologies which have provided the basis for the new industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) : Internet of things, cyber-physical systems, social networks, cloud computing, big data and cognitive computing.

Master I4.0 project

  • the children care has always gained a lot of importance in the research work. The computer science field, on its side has provided interesting contributions for this objective. Parents always need to track their babies/ young children’s movement and activities inside and outside the home and even their online activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • SAFE BABY project aims to ensure the safety and the comfort of the young child in the home. It suggests a solution that enable the parents to track their young child's movement inside a room when they are busy with the home tasks.
  • This solution is not limited to notifying the parents about the behavior of their child, but also provides the interactivity with the child and recommendations for the parents.

  • In the framework of this project, we implement an autonomous system based on the MAPE-K loop. This system is composed of a controller, three force sensors, and three effectors : a lamp, a smart phone and an MP3 shield. The force sensors detect the the behaviour of the baby/ young child. Then, the controller analyzes this behaviour and takes decisions. These decisions can make: the MP3 shield speaks to the baby in order to warn him with a costumized vocal message, the parents get luminous notifications via a lamp and get recommandations on their smart phone.
